鈥淗aiji-1鈥? asia鈥檚 first 300-meter deepwater jacket designed and built by cooec, was successfully completed a few days ago. the successful completion of this jacket has further improved china鈥檚 capability for the exploitation of oil and gas resources in deep waters.
鈥淗aiji-1鈥? asia鈥檚 first 300-meter deepwater jacket with a weight of 30,000 tons. it will serve lufeng oilfields in the eastern south china sea and operate in the sea area with a water depth of about 248 meters. it is china鈥檚 first fixed jacket platform designed, constructed and installed to operate in such a deep sea area.
unlike the common 鈥渟ubsea production systems floating production platform鈥?production mode of oil and gas fields at similar depths, the subsea production systems of 鈥淗aiji-1鈥?are installed above the water surface to reduce the costs of well drilling, completion and subsequent production operations and to support the economic, effective extraction of oil and gas resources in deep waters with depths ranging between 200 m and 400 m.
